Democrat from Oregon Earl Blumenauer co-sponsored legislation, The “Water Protection and Reinvestment Act,” H.R.3202 that, amongst other things, will create taxes to budget the $10 billion annual expenditure to upgrade drinking water and sewer system infrastructure upgrades and expansion.  Part of this is a federal excise tax of 3% on toilet paper that will placed on the manufacturer, then passed along to the consumer.  Here is H.R. 3202 information.

But don’t worry folks.  It being touted as a jobs bill that will create 250,000 jobs.  These guys are on crack and need another fix.
