Republican Congressman Says The Southerners Ruined The GOP

Ohio Senator, Republican Sen. George Voinovich, blames the demise of the (R) party on the Southern faction of the GOP. He should try looking in the mirror for problems with his party. Political parties are a tool to keep American citizens divided. Then the political parties seems hell bent on creating deeper divisions within it’s ranks.
Voinovich throws out this gem, in an interview, bashing the few Senators who actually take the Constitution seriously. He says,
“We got too many Jim DeMints and Tom Coburns,” Voinovich told the Columbus Dispatch Monday. “It’s the Southerners….
The problem is people like Voinovich, who is a politician and not a statesmen. They care more for their personal political aspirations than they do for the Constitutional rights of Americans. Good riddance Mr. Voinovich.

Voinovich is one of the two GOP clowns who voted against the recent Carry Permit Amendment 1618.
What the GOP needs to do is get rid of progressives like Voinovich, Lugar and Graham. That would go a long to to resuscitating the Republican party.
I'm not holding my breath on that.
A 3rd party is most likely the only thing that can break the stranglehold progressives have on both parties.
