As reported by Fox News: Murkowski to stations: Don’t air tea party ad

U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s campaign is warning Alaska broadcasters not to air ads by a national tea party group…Attorney Timothy McKeever, in a letter to broadcasters Monday, said they are under a “legal and moral obligation” not to air the new ads from Tea Party Express, which is supporting Joe Miller, the political upstart who defeated Murkowski in the August GOP primary.

Murkowski promised to avoid a repeat this time. She is running ads aimed at Tea Party Express featuring people vowing not to be “fooled” again, saying the group is poised to drop a “dirty money bomb” and is trying to “take our seat.”

Murkowski has called Tea Party Express an outside “extremist” group that “hijacked” the state GOP.

Then we have an indication that Murkowski is polling well among Democrats and that’s where she may end up getting most of her support. Obviously, progressives stick together. As reported by juneauempire.com, Polls show non-Republican support for Murkowski:

…polls released last week show the Republican Murkowski has significant support among Democrats

Another Anchorage pollster and consultant, Jean Craciun, also released a poll this week in which she said 30 percent of registered Democrats who responded were supporting Murkowski

The Alaska Democratic Party dismisses the polls as flawed and says that “this race is wide open.” Party officials, though, are all too aware of Democratic-leaning voters considering a vote for the Republican Murkowski because they think she has a better chance of beating Miller.

She won’t go away until she feels Conservatism is dead. No Lisa, your political career is dead. However, I’m certain Murkowski can find her a nice cushy job as a lobbyist for the oil and gas industry.
