90 ILLEGAL ALIENS thought they could buy under-the-table legal American citizenship, but got ripped-off instead. Good for them, seeing that their first act in America was to break federal law. Boo-hoo. It serves them right and hopefully they are too broke to live here illegally now and will move back across the border.
Unfortunately, this is rabidly Progressive-inspired Maryland we are talking about. So, the person perpetrating the crime gets at least 10 years in jail. While he may deserve it, how can a court convict someone who takes advantage of people who break into America. These ILLEGAL ALIENS should not be protected by the laws designed to protest legal law-abiding Americans, including legal immigrants.
My guess is that the 90 ILLEGAL ALIENS will probably be reimbursed for what they lost with taxpayer money, get more under-the-table union jobs, get some free housing and food, and welfare checks. Then after all of that is in place, they will probably receive priority status on receiving full legal citizenship.
Here are a couple of classic quotes from the article:
They paid tens of thousands of dollars to the trio, who promised to expedite their immigration paperwork.
Had they not broken into our country they would have never had to worry about this kind of theft. I guess one theft deserves another.
“He stole the dreams and money of hardworking members of our community.”
If your dream was to break into America, you deserve what you get. As far as your hard working, when you’re working tax free, taking jobs from legal immigrants, and not paying your fare share, you are just a common thief yourself.
60 statements were submitted in writing to the judge….More than three dozen victims packed several rows in the Montgomery County Circuit Court courtroom. Many wept openly during the proceedings. The court had too few translation headsets for the crowd, who ended up sharing headphones.
60 of the ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT lawbreakers probably thought better of showing up in court claiming someone else broke the law. There weren’t enough translator headsets because none of them bothered to learn English, which is one of legal immigration requirements. These people have no intention of assimilating into society.
“I wanted to be a part of this great country. I wanted to go to university and study a career,”
Yep, they are looking to get in on some of the free goodies Harry Reid is promising in the Dream ACT.
The U.S. Attorney’s office asked for an increase in the sentence because of the number of people defrauded and the amount of money taken.
This guy, that I’m not defending, will get multiple years for conning ILLEGAL ALIENS, while the ILLEGAL ALIENS will probably get citizenship awards for turning in a crook. All 90 of these ILLEGAL ALIENS need to be thrown out of America on their butts, but rewards await them instead.
