I am still hearing the propaganda being spread by the MSM of Obama’s concession on offshore drilling. Then I am still seeing comments by conservatives on the greatness of such a concession. Personally, I thought it was a gimmick to garner more Rino and Blue Dog support for Cap and Tax legislation. The Progressives are loving this trick, knowing it’s just another Obama deception.

What was the purpose of this announcement by Obama?

• Deflect attention from the socialized health program American are now forced to join

• Get the MSM progaganda machine to start emphasising Obama’s centrist position

• Confuse the non-informed sheep into signing on this disception as to demonize conservatives who oppose it its true intention.

• Buy the vote of Rinos and moderate Democrats who oppose Cap and Tax

• Most importantly, close down most of the drilling area opened up prior to him being elected

As noted in the report:

• Although President Obama today announced what he called the “expansion of offshore oil and gas exploration,” in reality the President LOCKED UP more land to American energy production…

• Under the Presidential and Congressional Moratoria in place from 1981 through October 2008, all of the Atlantic and the majority of the Pacific were off?limits to offshore drilling.

• In 2008, facing record gas prices, Congress and President Bush both announced an end to the decades?long ban on offshore drilling.  This opened 500 million additional acres for new energy production that contain an estimated 14 billion barrels of oil and 55 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.

• After the moratoria were lifted, the Bush Administration issued a 2010?2015 OSC leasing plan, and solicited comments on all aspects of the plan.  The proposal included 31 OCS lease sales in all or some portion of the 12 of the 26 planning areas—4 areas off Alaska, 2 areas off the Pacific coast, 3 areas in the Gulf of Mexico, and 3 areas off the Atlantic coast.

• Under President Obama’s new plan, the majority of the areas that were open for drilling once the moratoria were lifted are now once again closed. This includes all of the Pacific Coast, the Northeastern Atlantic and Bristol Bay in Alaska.

• The Administration is delaying plans to drill in the Atlantic off of Virginia’s coast until 2012– discarding a lease sale that was scheduled to take place in 2011.

• The Administration will only consider development of the Mid?Atlantic, Southern Atlantic, Chukchi and Beaufort Sea following Draft Environmental Study work to be conducted over the next year.  It has NOT actually planned lease sales for these areas.

There it is folks. Soon after taking office, Obama closes the offshore drilling area just opened by Bush. Then he comes back with a sliver of a triangle off the coast of Virginia that will be ultimately bogged down in regulatory and legal BS. When Obama or his Communist minions say maybe, you can count on that to be a 100% lie, considering that a “yes” by these clowns means a 99.99% “NO”. Take the bait if you please, but I wouldn’t bite.

So the Obama administration cut NASA’s budget only to have these bright minds of the space sector redirect their efforts to further investigate and demonize automobile maker Toyota. As reported by Industry Week,

Ray LaHood said space agency experts in “electromagnetic interference,” computer-controlled electronic systems and software integrity would be enlisted to help the high-profile probe.

The funny thing is that as the Obama administration continues to demonize Toyota, Toyota announced at the end of March 2010 that sales increased by 30%. Kind of reminds of the instances when the stock market heads south when Obama gives a nationally televised speech.

Obama seems hell bent on demonizing non-American union-based auto manufacturers. GM and Chrysler are crap because of union control and corruption. I thought union payback by the Obama administration was done already. Obviously, the unions have become part of our unelected Federal Government.

It appears that automobile manufacturer defects have become rocket science. Now NASA, standing as a world beacon for space exploration, has been reduced to playing the part of the new Socialist American way to destroy anything that stands in the way of full blown socialism. So, buying a car not made by a corrupt American union will become an un-Socialist American activity and certainly that cannot be tolerated in Obama’s Socialist America.

I’d love to know what the two traitors-in-arms, Joe Lieberman and Al Franken in the background on the video, were thinking and talking about while their drunk communist Senator Comrade from Montana talked very plainly about redistributing income to benefit the poor.

First, I just can’t believe residents in the beautiful state of Montana voted for this guy on purpose. Everywhere I visited in Montana was the exact opposite of this commie. Montana, like my state (who elected Lindsey Graham), should be ashamed for allowing these haters to trample on American freedoms and shred our Constitution. .

These Progressives, Socialists, and Communists, in every level of our Federal Government, are a cancer to America and need to be put on trial as traitors for trampling on the constitution. At a minimum, they need to be kicked to the curb.

Controlling Americans

If you took the time to look at Congressional representation in Detroit, MI, you will find (D-15, 16) were represented by only two people since 1935. That’s correct, only two in 75 years. To compound that issue, the two Congressman came in the form of a father-son combo.

The death of Detroit comes partly at the hands of the socialist relic congressman John Conyers representing the Detroit district (MI-14) for close to 30 years. Detroit’s fate also lies with the Congressional control of (MI-16) by a father-son combo. John Lesinski, Sr. held the seat March 4, 1933–May 27, 1950. He died in office and a special election brought his son into the seat. John Lesinski, Jr. served from January 3, 1951–January 3, 1965.

(MI-15), created in 1933 was represented by John Dingell Sr. March 3, 1933 – September 19, 1955. He was replaced by his son John Dingell Jr., in a special election, after  Dingell Sr. died in office. John Dingle Jr.  represented (MI-15) December 13, 1955 – January 3, 1965.  (MI-16) was merged in 1965 with (MI-15). John Dingell Jr. defeated John Lesinski, Jr. in the 1965 election. Confused yet? Your supposed to be. Michigan has been a subject of Gerrymandering for years and the results were fruitful for Progressives.

This Congressional area was essentially controlled by (2) father-son combos. John Dingell Jr. is the Dean of Congress, being its longest serving member. Ironically enough, John Dingell Jr.’s wife is the daughter of one of the founders of GM (Government Motors).

For a man in this position, I thought one of the most moronic statements he made was in an interview with C-Span in 2007 when discussing taxing Americans for climate change. Excepts below:

ANDREWS:  Yes.  Can you tell us anything more about what combination of bills will actually be in the package that arrives in July?…

DINGELL:  …Everything from clothes washers, dryers, dishwashers, dehumidifiers, residential boilers will be covered, and a lot of other things, including refrigerators and freezers…This will be mandated – something which has been avoided by every administration since we passed the first legislation back in the 1970s.

HITT:  You sketched a bill that does not include production incentives for fossil fuels – coal and oil, natural gas…

DINGELL: I pointed out that we’re going to go into the consideration of a much broader bill with much more controversial questions, including the overall question of global warming…

SWAIN:  …Mr. Chairman, I want to go back to your statement that the American people want action. Does that also correlate with the American people being willing to pay higher prices, because of energy legislation?

DINGELL:  I sincerely doubt that the American people are willing to pay what this is really going to cost them…I will be introducing in the next little bit a carbon tax bill, just to sort of see how people really feel about this.  And it will impose, for example, on gasoline a 50 cent tax. It also will place a very substantial tax on CO2 emissions, amounting to a double-digit tax on tons of CO2 emitted…

You talk about trying to kill his cash cow. Knowing that GM was not in a good position at that time to effectively compete with foreign competitors’ fuel efficiency, why would he even support this notion. Drive more customers away from union-dominated GM is certainly a way to help help kill GM it or drive it into bankruptcy.

I think Dingell has gotten so senile, he forgot to keep his mouth shut about the Progressives’ agenda to communize America.  Yesterday on a radio interview, the twelve minute with John Dingell Jr. provides about ten minutes of DNC (Progressive) talking points. Yep, the same ones. The funny thing is that he couldn’t even follow the script in a straight voice. The once great city of Detroit is dead because this Congressman and his Progressive predecessors have turned it into a Union-controlled welfare slum city. It seems Mr. Dingell has done a good job of controlling his constituents, approximately 75% minority. Keep them dumb and happy with welfare and they will always keep you in office.

VAT is a tax that you pay when you buy goods and services in the European Union (EU), including the United Kingdom. Where VAT is payable, it’s normally included in the price of the goods or service you buy.

The VAT is the biggest ATM machine in the world. And, as you say, it is used in Europe. And it is successful in bringing in cash because a small tweak of it, a tiny increase, which is hard to see in disguise, brings in a lot of revenue, and that’s why it’s liked in Europe and used.

The reason that people are talking about it here is because the expansion of healthcare is going to be so expensive under the Obama plans. Originally, the idea was that the cash cow would be the carbon tax, the cap and trade system, in which the government sells pollution rights.

The problem is that it’s been working its way in Congress, and in order to appease the Midwestern states that are coal producing and that are industrial and that would be ruined under a carbon tax, it has been re-jiggered so that over 80 percent of the permits will be given away for free. So no revenue.

So in the absence of that, the discussion of a VAT is beginning. link

This is how EU socialist countries are trying to fund their massive entitlements. Yet, they are still going broke.

Considering we already have 3 unsustainable entitlements, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, which have combined unfunded liabilities of 112 Trillion dollars, and now a brand new Health Insurance entitlement that will add trillions more to the debt, A VAT is the only way to prop up the system for a few more years.

1) Government now runs the financial system and controls all banks.
2) Government owns or controls 90% of the mortgages in the United States.
3) Government owns over 30% of the land in America.
4) Government has taken over most of the auto-industry.
5) Government has taken over the student loan system.
6) Government has now taken over the last piece of the puzzle, the health care industry.

There’s not much left, except for the energy sector and that’s next on the progressive agenda.

This going to end really badly. How’s that “Real Change” working out for ya?

This crusty relic of a Senator is the Chair of one of the most powerful Senate Committees, the Senate Judiciary Committee. You would hope that these progressives would at least learn about the founding of our country and the Bill of Rights, and Declaration of Independence (at a minimum) before being allowed in these committees, much less be allowed to run for elected office. However, when interviewed regarding the constitutionality of government mandated socialized healthcare, he declared it was allowed under the “Good and Welfare Clause”. Watch, but be warned this may cause blood to shoot from your eyes.

That’s right -just make this stuff up (including the rules) as they go.

What is the importance of the Senate’s Judiciary Committee

Established in 1816, the Judiciary Committee is one of the standing, or permanent, committees of the U.S. Senate. In 1868 the Senate directed the Judiciary Committee to examine and screen, for the full Senate, all Presidential nominations to the Supreme Court. Since then, one of the highly visible and very important duties of the committee is its investigations and recommendations about Presidential nominations to the Supreme Court.

-The Judiciary Committee quickly became a powerful influence on national legislation
-It is most popularly known for investigating nominees to the federal bench
-The Judiciary Committee receives the president’s judicial nominations from the full Senate for  investigation – The committee’s handling of nominations has been a subject of controversy almost from the origins of that practice…it is not unusual for committee chairs to further delegate responsibilities to subcommittees for reviewing lower court nominees.

This helps solidify the argument that all Congresspeople and members and appointees of the Executive Branch should be certified in American Constitutional knowledge. This clueless buffoon is one of the many in the Legislative Branch with no clue regarding America’s founding. What they do learn is used as a point of reference to promote progressivism, socialism, communism, Marxism, etc.. only

House Republicans said Thursday that the health care overhaul will expand IRS authority by giving agents the power to verify acceptable health care coverage and fine or confiscate the tax refunds of Americans without coverage.

Republican members of the House Ways and Means Committee, a panel that oversees taxes and health issues, also charged that IRS audits will likely increase if health care legislation is passed. They added the IRS will require up to $10 billion to administer the new program. They also claimed the IRS may need to hire 16,500 additional employees.

“This dangerously expands IRS authority,” said Representative David Camp, (R., Mich.), the ranking Republican on the Committee on Ways and Means. “Most Americans will find it shocking and troubling.”

Rep. Charles Boustany (R., La.) led the investigation into the effect of the health care legislation on IRS authority. “This is a vast expanse of power that the American people need to know about,” he said. link

The Federal government will add 16,500 new IRS agents at a cost of 10 Billion dollars to enforce the new health insurance mandate. This is an unprecedented expansion of power and control, especially considering that the central government has no authority under the constitution to force anyone to purchase anything.

The crippling new taxes and fines that will be heaped on small businesses is a mammoth job killer. This will make America even less competitive than we are now, giving China and India even more of an upper hand. I don’t see how any person or politician could support this legislation unless they are actively seeking to bankrupt and destroy this country.

Obama said he was going to “fundamentally transform” this country, but into what is the question. I think Glenn Beck has it right. The progressives are trying to bring down the system in a effort to transform our country into a European socialist system. A system where there is no incentive for individual achievement and everyone is enslaved to mediocrity under a collectivist ideology.

This is the worst administration and worst president since FDR.
