Part I
This is town meeting for the ages. As widely reported, Texas Congresswoman Shelia Jackson Lee (D-18), found the opportunity to multitask while being asked a question by constituent, Tracy Miller. She decided to take calls from staff and give shout outs to arriving dignitaries and such. Here's the photograph.

Well, that show of disrespect by Lee was about enough to convince me how dedicated this woman is to her constituents. In typical fashion, she will probably come out with a lame public apology. She should be flogged.

Part II
Then I see this story about one of the participants of the town hall, Roxana Mayer, getting to ask questions to Rep. Jackson Lee, while at the same time showing support for Obamacare. She gained credibility with the crowd as she informed them she was a physician. Watch up to about 1:40.

Apparently, someone at the Lonestar.com site noticed some things out of kilter with this Roxana Mayer and her friend. Her friend  was noticed by one of the Lonestar.com staff members.  As you see in the lonestar.com article, this woman, Maria Isabel, turned out to be a Obama campaign staffer.  She could have probably remained unnoticed had she not worn that same hideous shirt she had on in the Obama photo shown.

Now being reported by Lonestar.com, not only that these constituents, Roxana Mayer and Maria Isabel, are not constituents and  reside outside of Rep. Jackson Lee's district, but Mayer is not as a doctor as claimed.  Huh, democrats don't put plants at these town hall meetings.  Only concerned citizens and anyone else that's not a rabid progressive do that.

Well, the lonestar.com also goes to show some of the original article from the Houston Chronicle when they first covered this story, praising the claimed doctor for her support.  By the way, the Houston Chronicle is owned by the the Heasrt Corp.  You noticed I said, they first covered this.  Apparently, after not properly checking their background source on the "good doctor Mayer", and realizing their mistake, they went back and changed the picture captions showing Mayer and Rep. Jackson Lee hugging without a public correction statement.  Think Hearst Corp. and the rest is self- explanatory.

Apparently, since all of this has come to light, the Houston Chronicle has issued this article stating:

Roxana Mayer, who warmly embraced Jackson Lee at the close of Tuesday's session at a Fifth Ward community center, had spoken in favor of the president's health care package. The Texas Medical Board, which oversees doctors in Texas, has no record of Mayer, 31, holding a physician's license…and in a West Coast political blog, Patterico's Pontifications, Mayer admitted she is not a doctor.

What is the purpose of these health care town hall meetings?  Was it to talk with and answer questions of worried citizens coming to express concerns over the federal government wanting to take over health care or lying Obama- associated plants who make false claims to affect public opinion  and quell public dissent.  I guess that depends if you're a politician/corporate sponsor or are a taxpaying constituent.

While this is a fine example unethical behavior, I think is no worst than GOP backed non-profits busing in non-constituent protesters to town hall meeting.  While I'm absolutely opposed to the federal government taking over anything, especially health care, the meetings are designed for politicians of specific districts to address the constituents of that district. Both major political parties have shown their rear ends on these meetings.  Let them do their dog and pony shows and let the constituents have their meetings.  It doesn't really matter because these clowns in Congress care less about you, except when it come time to cast your ballot.  Unless the sheeple of America decide to wake up and sanitize this corrupt system of government, they will always be an afterthought to these corporate-sponsored thieves and liars.
