Bloomberg has reported the government has pledged nearly 13 trillion dollars in an effort to unfreeze the credit markets but where is the money?

Well, the whole idea was unfreeze the credit market but there were no mandates to lend, so they didn't. This has put a big strain on small businesses and many may go under, taking jobs with them.

One of the more disturbing aricles referenced here was how the government is trying to redirect contrats from small businesses to conglomerates.

Small businesses are going the way of the mom & pop corner store, yeilding to the muntinational corporations, with our government speeding the process along.

To small to survive it seems. Frown

And it's all caused by government meddling. Stop saving any business, if they are too big to fail they shouldn't be failing. Any business can be mismanaged and when the don't correct that mismanagement then it should fail, cut the fat, free market. Damn THAT BUSH For starting this! Curse

I've abandoned free market principles to save the free market system. link

It just doesn't work that way. This is the kind of thinking that leads to a one world work camp.

That's an absolute contriadiction. If he had not set that precedent and let the peices fall where they laid we would most likely already been on the road to recovery WITHOUT Spending our GDP! How do they think we're ever going to pay back every dollar that this nation produced? Curse
