Toxic Weiner Alert

Rep. Anthony Weiner should remember Elena Kagan was embedded in the Obama administration while Obamacare was being introduced before being appointed to the SCOTUS .

I’d love to know what the two traitors-in-arms, Joe Lieberman and Al Franken in the background on the video, were thinking and talking about while their drunk communist Senator Comrade from Montana talked very plainly about redistributing income to benefit the poor.

First, I just can’t believe residents in the beautiful state of Montana voted for this guy on purpose. Everywhere I visited in Montana was the exact opposite of this commie. Montana, like my state (who elected Lindsey Graham), should be ashamed for allowing these haters to trample on American freedoms and shred our Constitution. .

These Progressives, Socialists, and Communists, in every level of our Federal Government, are a cancer to America and need to be put on trial as traitors for trampling on the constitution. At a minimum, they need to be kicked to the curb.

VAT is a tax that you pay when you buy goods and services in the European Union (EU), including the United Kingdom. Where VAT is payable, it’s normally included in the price of the goods or service you buy.

The VAT is the biggest ATM machine in the world. And, as you say, it is used in Europe. And it is successful in bringing in cash because a small tweak of it, a tiny increase, which is hard to see in disguise, brings in a lot of revenue, and that’s why it’s liked in Europe and used.

The reason that people are talking about it here is because the expansion of healthcare is going to be so expensive under the Obama plans. Originally, the idea was that the cash cow would be the carbon tax, the cap and trade system, in which the government sells pollution rights.

The problem is that it’s been working its way in Congress, and in order to appease the Midwestern states that are coal producing and that are industrial and that would be ruined under a carbon tax, it has been re-jiggered so that over 80 percent of the permits will be given away for free. So no revenue.

So in the absence of that, the discussion of a VAT is beginning. link

This is how EU socialist countries are trying to fund their massive entitlements. Yet, they are still going broke.

Considering we already have 3 unsustainable entitlements, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, which have combined unfunded liabilities of 112 Trillion dollars, and now a brand new Health Insurance entitlement that will add trillions more to the debt, A VAT is the only way to prop up the system for a few more years.

1) Government now runs the financial system and controls all banks.
2) Government owns or controls 90% of the mortgages in the United States.
3) Government owns over 30% of the land in America.
4) Government has taken over most of the auto-industry.
5) Government has taken over the student loan system.
6) Government has now taken over the last piece of the puzzle, the health care industry.

There’s not much left, except for the energy sector and that’s next on the progressive agenda.

This going to end really badly. How’s that “Real Change” working out for ya?

Item #2

The dollar volume of mortgages financed at the end of 1995 illustrates the relative sizes of those intermediary markets: Fannie Mae, $770 billion; Freddie Mac, $570 billion; Ginnie Mae, $465 billion; and fully private conduits, $200 billion. Whereas Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have about 65 percent of the market for mortgage intermediary services, they have virtually 100 percent of the market for securitizing conventional mortgages up to $207,000. Fannie and Freddie, on the other hand, are in every market across the country, and they accommodate all conditions. This is their only business. Thus, they will continue to provide the widest range of options to the multifamily market. In fact, over the past year, when all of the other sources of mortgage capital left the market, the GSEs continued to meet industry needs. Some estimates suggest they now account for 85 to 90 percent of all mortgage debt issued.  commercialbanc.com

By the first quarter of 2008, more than 80 percent of all mortgages issued were purchased or guaranteed by Fannie/Freddie. ucsd

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are responsible for about 70 percent of all new mortgages this year, while the Federal Housing Administration accounts for about 20 percent. wallstreetjobreport

Item #3

It’s a map of how much land is owned in America by the federal government. They own nearly 650 million acres of land — almost 30 percent of the land area of the United States.
But look at how it’s distributed: It’s overwhelmingly in the West. Nevada is almost 90 percent federally owned land. Alaska is nearly three quarters federally owned. Compare that to the East. States are in the single digits. Even Texas is only 2 percent federally owned land. foxnews

In all, the bill would generate $409.2 billion in additional taxes by 2019, according to an analysis by the congressional Joint Committee on Taxation, a nonpartisan agency. The bill also imposes about $69 billion more in penalties for individuals and businesses who don’t meet mandates to buy insurance, according to the Congressional Budget Office, another nonpartisan agency.

Higher Medicare Taxes

Most of the revenue would come from higher Medicare taxes on about 1 million individuals earning more than $200,000 and about 4 million couples filing jointly who make more than $250,000.

The legislation would for the first time apply Medicare taxes to investment income received by these households, beginning in 2013. The 3.8 percent rate would apply to unearned income such as realized capital gains, dividends, interest, rents and royalties. It wouldn’t apply to other income subject to income taxes, including interest from municipal bonds and retirement accounts such as 401(k) plans until funds are withdrawn.

Obama’s budget proposes to allow the existing 15 percent tax rate on dividends and capital gains to rise to 20 percent in 2011 for the same high-earners. Layering a 3.8 percent Medicare tax on top of that would mean a new top rate on dividends and capital gains of 23.8 percent. The top tax rates on interest and rental income would rise to as high as about 44 percent, assuming other Obama tax increases on high-earners are enacted.

Individual’s Share

The bill also increases the individual’s share of Medicare tax currently imposed on salaries starting at $200,000 for individuals and $250,000 for couples to 2.35 percent, from 1.45 percent currently.

The combination of the new Medicare taxes and Obama’s budget proposals, if they were in place this year, would cost a married couple with a household income of $5 million an extra $287,100 in taxes, according to analysis by the consulting firm Deloitte Tax in Washington. Click here for more..

All of this will only fund 6 years of entitlements. That’s not including the other 500 billion dollars that is suppose to come from Medicare cuts, which will all know will never happen. That means we double these new taxes, or borrow the money from China or just print up the money, which will cause massive inflation.

Sure, it would be nice to have free health care for everyone but there is no free lunch and anyone who claims otherwise is a liar. Someone has to pay.

I think this clip sums up where we are heading..

When the French Government recently suggested cutting some of the handouts, there was rioting in the streets. Is that’s where we are heading in America?

I had a chance to attend Jim DeMint’s town hall on health care reform at the Beacon Drive-In in Spartanburg, S.C. on the Aug. 20th.

There was a great turnout, with an estimated 600-700 concerned citizens at the event. I put together a nice highlight video of the event.

There were several progressives there from the American Cancer Society who asked questions. One was simply an attack dog for the left and she had her Democratic talking points all listed out for her on a clipboard.

I volunteered once for the ACS and while they certainly do some good work, I found the meetings and members to have a very leftist slant. After digging a bit more, I realized that much of the funds being raised were not being used to help cancer victims, but being used to buy advertising promoting sin taxes and six tax laws, something I vehemently oppose. Needless to say, I decided not to contribute my time to that group.

Nonetheless, the event was very enjoyable and the crowd was decidedly against the current health care reform proposal the Democrats have cooked up, which is the first steps toward a government takeover of the system.

Jim has a much better alternative plan. You can read more about his proposals here and here.

We certainly need more Senators like Jim DeMint representing the citizens of our great country.

Part I
This is a town meeting for the ages. As widely reported, Texas Congresswoman Shelia Jackson Lee (D-18), found the opportunity to multitask while being asked a question by constituent, Tracy Miller. She decided to take calls from staff and give shout outs to arriving dignitaries and such. Here’s the photograph.

Shelia Jackson Lee Phone Scene

Well, that show of disrespect by Lee was about enough to convince me how dedicated this woman is to her constituents. In typical fashion, she will probably come out with a lame public apology. She should be flogged.

Part II

Then I see this story about one of the participants of the town hall, Roxana Mayer, getting to ask questions to Rep. Jackson Lee, while at the same time showing support for Obamacare. She gained credibility with the crowd as she informed them she was a physician. Watch up to about 1:40.

Apparently, someone at the Lonestar.com site noticed some things out of kilter with this Roxana Mayer and her friend. Her friend was noticed by one of the Lonestar.com staff members.  As you see in the lonestar.com article, this woman, Maria Isabel, turned out to be a Obama campaign staffer.  She could have probably remained unnoticed had she not worn that same hideous shirt she wore in the Obama photo shown.

Now being reported by Lonestar.com, not only are Roxana Mayer and Maria Isabel not Rep. Jackson Lee’s constituents and reside outside D-18, but Mayer is not as a doctor as claimedHuh, democrats don’t put plants at these town hall meetings. Only concerned citizens  (and anyone else that’s not a rabid progressive) do that.

Well, the lonestar.com also goes to show some of the original article from the Houston Chronicle when they first covered this story, praising the claimed doctor for her support.  By the way, the Houston Chronicle is owned by the the Heasrt Corp.  You noticed I said, they first covered this.  Apparently, after not properly checking their background source on the “good doctor Mayer”, and realizing their mistake, they went back and changed the picture captions showing Mayer and Rep. Jackson Lee hugging without a public correction statement.  Think Hearst Corp. and the rest is self- explanatory.

Apparently, since all of this has come to light, the Houston Chronicle has issued this article stating:

Roxana Mayer, who warmly embraced Jackson Lee at the close of Tuesday’s session at a Fifth Ward community center, had spoken in favor of the president’s health care package. The Texas Medical Board, which oversees doctors in Texas, has no record of Mayer, 31, holding a physician’s license…and in a West Coast political blog, Patterico’s Pontifications, Mayer admitted she is not a doctor.

What is the purpose of these health care town hall meetings?  Was it to talk with and answer questions of worried citizens coming to express concerns over the federal government wanting to take over health care or lying Obama- associated plants who make false claims to affect public opinion and quell public dissent.  I guess that depends if you’re a politician/corporate sponsor or are a taxpaying constituent.

While this is a fine example unethical behavior, I think it is no worst than GOP backed non-profits busing in non-constituent protesters to town hall meeting.  While I’m absolutely opposed to the federal government taking over anything, especially health care, the meetings are designed for politicians of specific districts to address the constituents of that district. Let them do their dog and pony shows and let the constituents have their meetings.  It doesn’t really matter because these clowns in Congress care less about you, except when it come time to cast your ballot.  Unless the sheeple of America decide to wake up and sanitize this corrupt system of government, they will always be an afterthought to these corporate-sponsored thieves and liars.
