But It's For The Children

Teacher unions and union-represented teachers’ associations control/dominate America’s public school system. You wonder why our public school system is a joke? It’s called socialized schools brought to you by the “defender of worker’s rights”. You know, class struggle and all that.

You can never claim true ownership to your home because you rent it from the government in the form of property taxes. Public school systems in America are largely funded by your property tax dollars. So as the employers of these teachers, why do these taxpayers allow their employees to join unions in order to keep a firewall between their employers?

So here’s what you get for a return on your tax dollars:
Paying union member dues to unions so teachers can strong arm and extort taxpayers.
Paying union dues so unions can lobby elected official to make policy detrimental to you
Paying union member dues to run huge political ad campaigns for politicians who oppose your views.
Having teacher unions sue the taxpayer.
Having unions refuse concessions in times of economic hardships.
Having unions demand more money while school budgets are being cut.
Union strikes.
Current union campaigns for governments to raise property taxes, income taxes, user fees, ad infinitum.

Unions should be banned in all government institutions, especially the public school system. It’s all about the children my ass. It’s about political power and the “class struggle between workers and labor”. Please get these corrupt institution’s tentacles unwrapped from the taxpayer. I urge you support the abolition of teacher unions in public schools in America.

To close, let us look at a sample of benefits the American taxpayer earned from teacher unions in 2009-2010:?

Well, this is just a sample of what unions are doing to our public learning institutions. Not all public school systems are unionized and I do have sympathy for those non-union teachers who are cast in this negative light.

Teachers are not unlike most Americans currently facing economic hardships. Why should unionized government workers be able to hold the taxpayer hostage, over pay, insurance, benefits, pensions, etc.. if their demands are not met, while those of us out here  are paying these  teacher’s salaries. The unions’ unwillingness to concede on issues while pressing the government to hike taxes on those that pay their salaries show what part they should play in our children’s education. None!

Possibly, the non-unionized teachers should push to ban unionization in the public schools instead of swelling the union’s ranks.

Reconciliation is bad – that is if you are having the reconciliation process used against you in Congress. In a Sept. 2008 Cspan interview with Tom Daschle, Harry is clear about not using the Nuclear Option. No embedding allowed, so here’s the link: 195169&start=3006&end=3124

In specific reference to the Nuclear Option being used by Harry Reid in the future:

Daschle : Is there any likelihood that we’re going to face circumstances like that again.

Reid: As long as I’m the leader, NO!

Now fast forward to this week:

You’d think these crooks would cover their lies better than this.  What do you expect from crazy people. So, is Harry psychotic or just a liar. or both.

Targeting Citizens Is Getting Too Serious To Ignore

Robert A. Bonelli

The Senatorial campaign of Scott Brown, the Republican candidate in the special election in Massachusetts, is gaining momentum and causing his opposition in the Democratic Party to panic. Panic reveals the worst in people and panic also reveals the truth of what people really think. Has panic over a possible Brown victory resulted in the Democratic Party stepping up its verbal attack on American citizens to the point that it is now becoming too serious, and possibly too dangerous, to pass off as simply politics?

Brown’s opposition is now targeting the TEA Party movement as “his radical backers.”  In recent remarks by prominent Democratic Politicians, as published on the Fox News website this weekend (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/01/15/democrats-accuse-brown-radical-ties-senate-election-nears/), Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., called Brown a “far-right tea-bagger” in an e-mail, using a term that also can refer to a sexual act. Then on Friday, Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., wrote in a fundraising e-mail that Coakley (Brown’s Democratic Party opponent) was “being attacked by tea partiers and right-wing radicals.”

Patriotic citizens exercising their free speech against the big government policies of the Obama Administration have been attacked repeatedly since the TEA Party movement began to grow across the Untied States last summer.  Democratic House (of Representatives) leader Nancy Pelosi, Democratic Senate leader Harry Reid, the left leaning old media and even Mr. Obama, have used the term “tea-bagger” as a pejorative reference to everyday Americans who decided to leave their comfort zones and speak out for the preservation of personal liberties and for less government in their lives.  These current attacks on Scott Brown should awaken all Americans to the planned targeting of opposition speech.

The increased targeting of TEA Party patriots by the Obama Administration, the Democratic controlled Congress and the old media should be a major concern for all Americans.  If we don’t recognize what is beginning and quickly speak out to stop it, we could be on the verge of a Crystal Night (name that’s been given to the night of 9-10 November 1938. In almost all large German cities and some smaller ones that night, store windows of Jewish shops were broken, Jewish houses and apartments were destroyed, and synagogues were demolished and set on fire. Many Jews were arrested, some were beaten, and some were even killed. The “Reich Crystal Night” (Reichskristallnacht) was one of the most shameful events of National Socialist Germany) in our own nation.

The Crystal Night reference should be disturbing to every citizen of our great country, but it should be even more disturbing to see American citizens singled out and targeted – verbally, for now – by our own government.   History teaches us that tyranny is supported by creating an internal enemy to be the target of anger, anger that is then diverted away from the tyrannical government and toward the innocent citizenry identified as that internal enemy.

TEA Party patriots speaking out against big government policies that are driving our nation deeper into debt and stripping us of personal liberties should not be vilified, but praised.   Every American exercising his or her constitutional rights should be honored by our government.  Unfortunately our government has clearly forgotten that it is subject to its citizens and not the other way around.

All American citizens regardless of their political beliefs should not tolerate the targeting of their fellow citizens.  All of those who have taken the oath “to support and defend the Constitution of the United States”, should make it clear to the government that you will stand with your fellow citizens and defend their right to speak out.  Now is the time.

So, China is the world’s largest polluting country. More than likely, the U.S. and other developed countries have precipitated this by moving manufacturing overseas to reduce their cost of doing business. The policies of the U.S. Federal government have placed such a financial burden on the U.S. manufacturing sector that it remains difficult to operate profitably.  Even though China would have remained a super-third-world nation and employment in the U.S. would have suffered much less, the benefit of this manufacturing relocation, in the eyes of the Chinese government, is non-existent and they say we have caused them to become the largest polluting country in the world. What the heck did the Chinese expect when they opened up their doors to the manufacturing world in an attempt to lift their country from their third world status? They had to of known the implications of their decisions in this regard, yet they expect to remain fiscally unaccountable for remedying the problem they helped create.

So this week at the Copenhagen conference, China and other third-world (and developing) countries are declaring a boycott until developed nations, like the U.S. and Britain, pay for the proposed wealth distribution outlined in the IPCC mandate. An AP story today, gives some insight into what these developed countries expect from this agreement.

China, India and other developing nations boycotted U.N. climate talks Monday, bringing negotiations to a halt with their demand that rich countries discuss much deeper cuts in their greenhouse gas emissions.

The move disrupted the 192-nation conference and forced the cancellation of formal working groups, delaying the frantic work of negotiators trying to resolve technical issues before the arrival of more than 110 world leaders later this week.

and

The boycott was largely seen as a ploy to shift the agenda to the responsibilities of the industrial countries and make emissions reductions the first item for discussion.

While this is certainly mere posturing on the part of China and India, it stills shows the rift that lies between modernized and developing nations. These countries’ governments are not willing to commit themselves financially to a problem that they take no responsibility for. However, the bottom-line is –  they want to pollute while we pay for it. Confirmation of this comes from a quote from a participant at Copenhagen

Gustavo Silva-Chavez, a climate change specialist with the Environmental Defense Fund. “They want to make sure that developed countries are not left off the hook.”

Apparently, in an attempt to circumvent this dissent among developing nations, the White House announced an international effort to help these developing nations create greenhouse gas-free energy.

the White House announced a new program drawing funds from international partners to spend $350 million over five years to give developing nations clean energy technology to curb greenhouse gas emissions

The program will distribute solar power alternatives for homes, including sun-powered lanterns, supply cleaner equipment and appliances and work to develop renewable energy systems in the world’s poorer nations.

So the entire agenda of the developing countries is same as the overall goals of the unelected and unaccountable world government body, the U.N. Whether it’s wealth transference from country to country or individual to individual, it’s still socialism. So, if the socialists’ ploy in your own government is not well received by its citizens, it will get its “Big Brother”, the U.N,. to furthers its goals.

So, whether it’s coming from communist China or the Marxist-lite Obama administration, their end goals are the same:

Provide social and economic justice to those who have suffered from capitalism and wealth distribution to those who demonize capitalism.

After much criticism regarding President Obama’s plan to address America’s school children, The Washington Post  is reporting that the administration has redesigned the effort. Initially, Obama’s team came up with the wonderful idea of pitching to school children in order to solidify some support of his misguided policy initiatives.  Since, the Obama team is unable to garner support from the majority of America’s adult population for his socialist agenda, they decided to have Obama address the children to shore up some support.

So, now instead of Obama addressing the schools via video and having teachers issue a class assignment requesting children to write an essay on how they can help Obama, children will now be requested to write on how they can achieve long and short-term educational goals. The entire idea of indoctrinating school children with propaganda is morally objectionable, at best. This is a continuation of the Obama team’s effort to whip the nation up in a nationalistic furor.

White House aides said the language was an honest misunderstanding in what was supposed to be a inspirational, pro-education message to America’s youths.

The only education he was providing in his initial plan was selling bad ideas to kids, whose parents are not buying it. It also opened up the possibility that children not supporting this agenda could be bullied and targeted by fellow classmates, whose parents support this indoctrination program. Inspirational? Inspired to support the state, I guess. If children are going to be exposed to the dirty game of politics, then it should be initiated by parents, not the state. While I don’t mind encouragement from Obama to my kids to stay focused on education, anything political is off limits.

So, for those who don’t want the politicization of the classroom, they will be attacked from liberal pundits like long time political strategist, Norman Ornstein.  As with most of these progressive clowns, if you don’t want to ride the Obama train, you are demonized. Mr. Ornstein states,

The fact that a standard issue speech by a president, with a good, common sense, even conservative message about education, school, hard work and perseverance, is being hit hard by the right tells us how dysfunctional our politics are, how shrill the discourse is getting from the president’s foes, and how some people are blinded from common sense by their visceral hatred for Obama and his side of the aisle.

Pundits like this are a major reason America keeps buying into the left/right political paradigm scam. I’d say Mr. Ornstein could find a nice position in the Hugo Chavez administration. Oops, that’s not in America -yet.

Wow!  I  swear every time I think of this, I’m absolutely stupefied to think Obama so openly appointed a known socialist, Carol Browner, to the Noble Position of Energy Czar.  There’s so much wrong here, I could right a book on the wrongness of her appointment by Obama.  Being a non-supporter of political parties and their designed divisive nature and being a proponent of statesmanship, my opinions are not politically motivated.  They are based on logic, reasoning, and common sense.  Guess what, Ms. Browner’s socialistic ideology and socialist affiliations sure do not set well with whatever we have left of our, minimally, free nation.

My research led me to her profile on Socialist International.

Socialist International, an umbrella group for many of the world’s social democratic political parties such as Britain’s Labor Party, says it supports socialism and is harshly critical of U.S. policies. link

I failed to find her profile again when I looked several weeks ago, not realizing it had been scrubbed from the site.  I found a site that got a screen shot of that profile, but it also has some other comments about Wikipedia deletions.

Fox News ran a piece about the Socialist International scrubbing the site of her biographical content and background on the group.

In case your not aware she is another Clinton re-run, as she served as the chief of the EPA.  Prior to that, she was Legislative Director for the “Global Warmer” himself, Sen. Al Gore Jr. (D-Tenn.)

On her financial disclosure, which was submitted April 2009, it indicates payment of by her husband Tom Downey’s lobby firm Downey McGrath between $1.0 mil-5.0 mil. Maybe it was because the company, The Albright Group, in which she was a principal, was a client of her husband firm, huh?  Her husband lobbies the federal government on behalf of their clients such as the health care industry, media, drug store chains, etc..   Albright Group is a global strategy firm that works with client companies and organizations which, among other things, brokers deals between government and businesses.  Currently, the principals in that firm are all former Clinton appointees.  That’s rich.

Remember, the Dubai Ports World U.S. seaport deal gone bad several years back?  The lobbying firm hired to represent Dubai was Browner’s husband’s lobbying firm.  Browner, representing  The Albright Group, teamed up with her husband to convince the feds (esp. Sen. Charles Schumer) to let the deal go through.  Nice, sell our ports to Dubai.

Then I realized how her ties with Al Gore materialized after her time with the EPA and fighting global warming.  She had joined the board of the company, APX, to take advantage of this new commodity exchange program of carbon credits.  This all hooks back into the cap and trade scam, and if you want to know what carbon credits are, go here.  Amazingly enough, Al Gore in on the same gig.

Research showed this neat little scam of “Cap and Traders” had already been put in place as our new financial investment instruments of mass destruction:  trading carbon credits.  Then I saw where Al Gore owned a company called Generation Investment Management that’s all about trading these credits.  Here is Al Gore’s Partner’s (David Blood) write-up pitching the investment opportunities in trading carbon credits to increase shareholder wealth for their company and it’s very telling.

So here it is, an in your face dictatorial move of sliding this woman under the Congressional confirmation and oversight process to become some “Energy Dictator” who will not only seek to re-distribute wealth by means of taxation of energy company and manufacturers, but turn those taxes into a form of carbon credit securities trading system in which Browner herself has helped to develop, foster, and promote.  There must be concern of the concerted effort to bring the world together under this new system of carbon credit securities/currency as supported by the U.N. and The World Bank.  It smells like another “exotic financial investment vehicles” that will be sliced and diced, packaged up, while offering counter-party risk to the insiders, and then sold off to the 401K sheeple out there.

These creators of these “franken-funds” are the same mad scientists that created all of the other “exotic financial investment vehicles of mass destruction” that attempted and have nearly destroyed our free-enterprise system in the U.S.  Our freedoms and liberties are being attacked by the same people Obama has residing in his House of Czars.

It’s really scary to now know that neither Democrat or Republican Congressional representation will not even blink an eye as this real wave of socialism to fascism is washing over the U.S. citizens.   Carol Browner appointment should worry everyone.  And the waves will keep crashing in as long as we let it.
